When you live at Windler, you get the perks of both a Metro District and a Homeowners Association. They each do different things to help keep the neighborhood running smoothly and looking great. Think of it as a team effort – one handles the big stuff like infrastructure, the other focuses on community vibes and upkeep. Together, they make Windler an awesome place to live.

Windler’s Metropolitan District

A Metro District helps bring communities like Windler to life. It funds the things that make this place special – like the pool, parks, and trails – and helps maintain them over time. Instead of waiting on a city or county to build and maintain these things, the Windler Metro District ensures they’re in place from the start – and properly taken care of as the community grows. In short: it’s part of what makes Windler feel well-planned, beautifully maintained, and built for the long run.

Windler Home Owner’s Association (WHOA)

The WHOA helps ensure your neighborhood feels as good as it looks – and stays that way for years to come.

From beautifully maintained landscaping to thoughtful community standards, the WHOA takes care of the details that elevate daily life. It helps preserve the cohesive character of Windler, supports lasting home value, and makes shared spaces feel truly shared.

Design Review Requests

All exterior improvements to your home at Windler require WHOA Design Review Committee approval before you can proceed with the improvement. This includes but is not limited to painting, staining, landscaping (front, back, and side yards), fencing, patios, and decks etc. Please consult the Design Review Guidelines for further information. It is critical that residents apply for and receive Committee approval before proceeding with exterior improvements to their property to avoid removal of unapproved improvements at the owner’s expense.
